Indonesia is the only nation in the world that uses the Japanese Imperial Calendar (Year 2668 now) which was in use in Japan until the end of WW2. All the bills and coins in Indonesia are recorded with the Japanese Imperial Calendar. All the prime ministers of these nations in many occasions officially thanked Japan for liberating them from the evil oppressors (Britain, Holland, US, France). 800 Japanese soldiers remained in Vietnam after WW2 to train Vietnam Independence Force, and fought against France and US.
